Inspiration for "Tarrytown" by Michelle Yeo came from her love of antique quilts and the fabrics used to create them. Many of the designs in the collection are reproduced and updated for today’s market. They originated from a ‘Puss in the Corner’ quilt made in Southeast Pennsylvania, Lancaster County, Circa 1840. The floral toile print, used in the border of the antique quilt, has been reproduced in three updated multi-colorations and a beautiful new floral toile with birds and butterflies has been designed to complement the collection. These fabrics can be used within blocks, setting squares and borders and many can be fussy cut for amazing effects. The main floral and toile prints are perfect for cutting into beautiful flowers and sprays that could be used creatively in quilts featuring Broderie Perse appliqué.
