Tarrytown is my fourth fabric collection, but my first line with Henry Glass fabrics. The gorgeous main print is a reproduction of a beautiful floral, dating back to 1840, which is available in 3 colour ways. This is complemented by a stunning toile featuring flowers, birds and butterflies as well as 6 other beautiful prints offered in coordinating colours that will enhance any quilt. These beautiful fabrics include lots of elements that are perfect for Broderie Perse as well as traditional appliqué and piecing. The main prints and many of the companion prints are from an antique Puss in the Corner quilt, dating back to the 1840s and many lend themselves to being fussy cut for great effects within quilts which are sure to become heirlooms of the future. I have designed a range of quilts using Tarrytown and I can't wait to begin sewing! Shipping December, 2020.

Little did I know when I received an email from Ballaarat Quilters in 2008 requesting me to design and teach a quilt at their upcoming retreat, how many times I would go on to teach that design. The design brief was to make a quilt in the style of a traditional Ballarat Beauties, but scrappy in nature and with a number of variations within the individual blocks. And so... Ballarat Beauties was born. The quilt has an appeal to both traditional quilters, who prefer to use reproduction fabrics and those who make more modern quilts using contemporary fabrics. Ballaarat Beauties is inspired by a number of circular patchwork designs from years gone by.
Torrington Place is a reproduction range inspired by a piece 1860's red paisley border print that I purchased from Mary Kovel a couple of years ago, just because I liked it. Never did I think I would ever get to reproduce it and that would become the beginning of a fabric range. In fact it never even entered my head!
I am very excited to have been asked to teach of the 14 day Norway Cruise leaving Amsterdam on July 23 and returning August 6, 2017.
In May, I spent a week in Massachusetts with my good friend, Dianne. This state is full of rich and interesting history - most interesting to me, of course, are the beautiful antique quilts.

Les Fleur de Nantes is a reproduction range inspired by a stunning 1800's turkey red print that I purchased last year for the specific intention of reproducing it for use by lovers of antique fabrics from bygone years. The collection features 21 prints with 7 different designs in 3 colour ways each, reminiscent of colours from the Pennsylvania Dutch. The prints are all exact replicas of the antique fabric or inspired by the original print and enhanced for today's quilter.
I am very excited to have been asked to design the 2017 Quiltmania Mystery Quilt using my debut collection of fabrics, Torrington Place.
Bucklebury Chintz is my ninth fabric collection, and my fifth line with Henry Glass fabrics.
Bucklebury Chintz brings together many historic and timeless motifs in beautiful raspberry pinks, olive greens and ocean blues. Michelle loves to collect antique quilts and in particular ones from the early 1800s. A quilt she collected while in France inspired Bucklebury Chintz. Her modern take brings in more colours while the originals she was inspired by were in tones of mauve and cream. These chintz prints have been around since the 16th century and originated from India. Traditionally, they were created by block printing, featured flowers and other small patterns on a solid colour background. Bucklebury Chintz features paisleys, calico prints and beautiful vines. A print inspired by the moiré technique is also featured within this collection. Bring a bit of history into your next project by using Bucklebury Chintz to create a masterpiece! I have designed a range of quilts using Bucklebury
