Charlotte is my third fabric collection by Riley Blake Designs. The stunning main fabric is a reproduction of a French chintz fabric dating back to the 1780s which I purchased in the US in 2017. It includes lots of beautiful elements that are perfect for Broderie Perse as well as traditional appliqué and piecing. The lovely companion prints are mostly from an antique quilt, dating back to the 19th century and they all lend themselves to being fussy cut for great effects within quilts which are sure to become heirlooms of the future. This collection is very special to me and I am excited to start sewing with it in my quilts!!
