Yeoville Medallion was designed to accompany my beautiful fabric collection Yeoville. The collection includes gorgeous florals reproduced from some early 19th century fabrics and quilts lent to me by my quilting friend, Bev Bannard, as well as many from my own collection. The quilt features all of the fabrics in the fabric line, many of which have been fussy cut to achieve some beautiful effects. A number of different techniques have been used throughout the quilt including hand or machine piecing, freezer paper foundation piecing and needleturn appliqué. Broderie perse, using motifs from the main floral feature prints, feature in the central block.
