This quilt was inspired by the Seven Sisters quilts made around the time of the Civil War in America. The patchwork pattern dates back prior to this time with variations made in the 1840s and 1850s. It is a stunning quilt when pieced with a variety of fabrics in order to achieve a scrappy effect. It can be hand or machine pieced. Finished quilt size 60" x 69".
