This quilt is a reproduction of a quilt made in America in the mid to late 1800's. The origin of the quilt is unknown, but was possibly Pennsylvania Dutch. It now lives in Australia. The original quilt was also made from a variety of poison green and double pink fabrics.
This quilt can be hand or machine pieced and consists of 9 Sunburst blocks with hand appliquéd stars in their centres, surrounded by a Flying Geese border. Finished quilt size – 72" x 72".
