The pattern features two versions of the Mariakerke Stars quilt. The larger version, quilt, 1, features 3 strips each of 5 Devil’s Claw blocks placed on point within setting triangles. These strips are set between vertical strips of the beautiful border print, which then borders the outside of the quilt. Quilt 2 features 2 strips each of 4 Devil’s Claw blocks placed on point with setting triangles. These strips are set between a strip of 8 pieced Evening Star blocks, also set on point. The strips are set between vertical borders with the main border print bordering the outside of the strips to complete the quilt.
