The Les Fleurs de Nantes quilt was inspired by a love of the antique Coxcomb and Current’s quilts from the 19th century, a block of which features in the centre of the quilt. The corner blocks are a variation of this block combined with a Dresdon Plate. The ‘Kansas Dugout’ pieced blocks are scappy in nature to show off the other fabrics in the collection. The quilt is hand & foundation machine pieced and includes Broderie Perse and needle turn applique The quilt was designed as the quilt featured on the Story board for my fabric collection ‘Les Fleurs de Nantes’ of which this quilt is made. Finished Size - 98” x 98”
