Bucklebury Manor was designed to accompany my beautiful fabric collection Bucklebury Chintz. The collection includes gorgeous florals reproduced from some early 19th century fabrics and quilts from my collection of antique textiles. The quilt features all of the fabrics in the fabric line. Different techniques have been used throughout the quilt including hand or machine piecing and needleturn appliqué. Broderie perse, using motifs from the main floral feature prints, feature in the central block. If preferred, the Broderie Perse can be replaced by a solid hexagon of the main floral to simplify the design.
