Yeoville is a beautiful reproduction fabric collection featuring elegant florals in reds, greens and creams that would look fabulous in any quilt but would be stunning featured in holiday and Christmas quilts.
Two of the main floral chintz prints, named Bev and Claire, are inspired by fabrics in an early 19th Century quilt owned by my friend, Bev Bannard, which she generously allowed me to reproduce. The remainder of the prints are from antique quilts and fabrics in my own collection.
The line includes four amazing chintz florals, one of which would make a stunning border stripe or feature stripe within a strippy quilt. All these prints can be cut up and rearranged creatively into Broderie Perse appliqué, a favourite technique of mine, as well as being used within blocks, setting squares and borders.
