This quilt was started in 2010 as part of a series of 9 blocks designed for a websampler quilt using the Civil War Tribute fabric range. Nine Australian shops each designed a quilt using these blocks as a basis for their design. Th=is quilt uses seven of the original blocks plus 4our additional pieced blocks , one of which is used as the alternate block and as the setting triangles, Four Broderie Perse blocks, set on point, create a central focus for the quilt. the Broderie Pers and sampler blocks are pieced by hand. The Windmill blocks are machine foundation pieced. The block are assembled old post. Finished size - 735/8” x 947/8”
