This beautiful quilt was inspired by the Tarrytown Toile fabric and a love of strippy quilts from years gone by. It consists of 8 pieced blocks of originally design, set on point into two vertical strips. A strip of Le Moyne Star blocks runs through the centre of the quilt. Fussy cut diamonds provide a stunning feature within the larger blocks and the central stars. Pieced sashings separate the three strips of blocks and a toile border completes the quilt. Two versions of the quilt are provided in the pattern offering a variation in the fabric for the setting triangles within each of the strips for a different effect.
