This quilt was designed and made in honour of my mother, Syvia Brown, 1927 - 2016, who taught me the love of sewing. It is made in the style of a Lone Star but with additional diamonds, and a wheel in the centre. The Lone Star is surrounded by Caesar Star full and half blocks, with a pieced diamond border. Sylvia uses a number of fabrics from my debut fabric line, Torrington Place, to achieve a scrappy look. Finished quilt size - 84" x 84"
