Sunburst Feathered Star pattern

This magnificent Feathered Star quilt dates back to the 1840's, and is skilfully pieced and densely quilted, showing off a unique pieced border. The centre of each Feathered Star block features a thirteen point Sunburst star within a square, which creates another focal point in a truly individual quilt.
