This quilt was inspired by the appliqué Prairie Rose quilts made in the USA during the nineteenth century and later revived in the 1930s when the design was reprinted in popular quilt books at the time.
This version consists of four appliquéd blocks straight set with alternating pieced Star Cluster blocks which use a variety of fabrics to achieve a scrappy effect. It is completed with a floral border. Finished quilt size - 73" x 73"
