While the touching stars in this fabulous 1870s quilt are stunning, it’s the border that really stands out. The Touching Stars pattern dates back to the early 19th century but the Folk Art border on this quilt relaxes the overall effect of the design. It can be reproduced using hand or machine piecing techniques.
