Finished quilt - 83¾“ x 72¾“

This is a classic 1870s Baskets quilt made by a very skilled quilter who took advantage of the fabulous selection of fabrics available to her. Prints, plaids and stripes in a range of colours make this an exciting collection of baskets.

The quilting design is basic, but her stitches are small and even and well executed throughout. It can be reproduced using hand or machine piecing techniques.
